As one of the world's leading manufacturers of printing presses, with over 190 years of experience in the field, Koenig & Bauer AG (KBA) has built up an excellent reputation in the engineering branch. At its three major German manufacturing locations in Frankenthal, Radebeul and Würzburg, which together provide more than 215,000 sq.m. of production floor space, some 5,000 employees develop, design and manufacture innovative and highly demanding machinery to the strictest quality standards.

Project volumes of up to €100 million are by no means unusual, and require that substantial capacities be kept available in the various factory departments. With such valuable resources at its disposal, KBA is pleased to offer the technical services of over 300 CNC machine tools and the extraordinary know-how of manufacturing and assembly specialists to all those seeking a competent partner to cushion demand peaks or further promote a regular outsourcing strategy. Qualified engineers and highly skilled operators - the majority of whom learned their trades in KBA's state-recognised factory training school - take care of the external contract production on new-generation CNC machines and machining centres. The company's vast experience with high-precision manufacturing technologies and complex workpieces enables customers to expect top-quality complete manufacturing.

With certification to DIN EN ISO 9001, KBA offers services of the highest standard in the most varied fields: Foundry products, large parts, prismatic parts, rotating parts, gears and cams, sheet-metal components, rollers and coating technologies for rotating parts. Offers for assembly work or the hiring of manufacturing and assembly personnel on a temporary basis are similarly possible.
