13. 4. 2004 / Grafitec International Dealers Meeting April 7th - 8th, 2004

Dobruška / Grafitec organised a meeting with its foreign dealers, who represent the company in the markets abroad. The meeting took place in Dobruška and Hradec Králové on April 7th and April 8th 2004, respectively.

The initial stage of this international meeting of foreign dealers started on April 7th at 9 a.m. in the hotel U Královny Elišky. During the initial stage of the meeting the CEO informed the dealers about the company's current situation and about plans for the near future. Mr. Korenc Sales and Marketing Director then provided detailed information about the concept of the participation in the Drupa 2004 exhibition, the news that will be on display, about the approach towards the dealers and the management of the display stall. The main stage of the meeting was devoted to the introduction of Polly Prestige 674, by Dušan Čejka and Petr Kopecký. The two gentlemen described not only the specific innovations of the machine, but also the importance of those innovations for the customer. At the and, Mr. Martin Prouza and Mr. Pavel Kebort introduced the participants of the meeting to a launch of the sales project for CtP equipment.

During the afternoon the participants moved to Grafitec, into the assembly room, where the Prestige 674 could finally be presented. The CEO, Mr. Petr Skrla, showed all the participants around and was able to switch from fluent English to fluent Czech and vice versa. In the assembly room, there was an extensive mix of foreign languages to be heard and all the participants admired the main advantages of the new printing unit, Polly Prestige 674+L DE. The CEO briefly presented this new printing unit and the Operating Director Luboš Moravec introduced all the participating parties to the features of the new six-colour Polly. The operators took advantage of the possibility to test the machine, at first hand, by colour printing a highly challenging motive.

Awards were presented to the best dealers, on April 7th, in the wine cellar of the U Královny Elišky hotel on Malé náměstí square in Hradec Králové. The Spanish company Litho-binder received the award for the highest year-on-year increase in sales and the German company Druckmaschinen Servis received the award for the best sales of the Prestige 74 series. Dealer of the year is the Russian company IPRIS. IPRIS representative Jelena Fadina shared the winner's cake, in the shape of the Polly Prestige 674 printing unit, with all the participants of the event. The domestic team, consisting of Czech sales manager Josef Ulrich, Mr. Poláček and Mr. Futera, won the award for the best sales of the Performer 66 series. Mr. Libor Losenický received a special award for his long-term successful co-operation with Grafitec.
