Dobruška / Both the Czech domestic and foreign markets are showing an increased interest in Performa machines for both format lines. KBA-Grafitec rounded off a successful year in 2005 with further installations in December for both the Czech and foreign markets. Here is the first part of the selection.

The 3P printshop in Prague purchased a Performa 74-4 printing machine. The standard machine equipment was customised with automatic inking unit and offset blanket washers. The press was supplied with the SuperBlue blanket on the delivery drum and also with Inkdry Plus infrared drying. The printer has available a GrafiControl remote control with Techkon densitometer. The interface for communication in the CIP4 standard allows the 3P printshop to sort the data from the pre-press for pre-setting of the printing machine and the CTP Presstek which is an integral part of the new printing machine KBA Performa 74-4 operational system.

For the Turkish customer –  Birlik printshop in Istanbul – a five-colour printing machine KBA Performa 74-5 in the SRB2 format including generous standard and optional fittings was dispatched from Dobruška. The customer now owns a machine with an interface for communication in the CIP4 standard and the GrafiControl remote control with Techkon densitometer. The press is also equipped with temperature controlled inking units and with the Technotrans combined unit. The Ecomatic dampening contributes to the print quality. The speed of the job change and printer comfort is increased by the semi-automatic plate change with diagonal register setting and also the automatic inking unit and offset blanket washers. The printers for the Istanbul company Birlik, have on their new  KBA Performa 74-5 machine, the remote control for the printing pressure, ultrasonic and electromechanical  double sheet detector.

KBA-Grafitec supplied Performa 66-4 printing machine to the Print Service printshop in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan. They received a four-colour printing machine in the SRA2 format with automatic inking unit washers and a double sheet electromechanical detector. The inking units are equipped with a temperature control using the Technotrans unit. The printing machine has been equipped with the Simco ionization system along with Inkdry Plus infrared drying. The Performa 66-4 was supplied to Kazakhstan with the Bacher registration system.

KBA-Grafitec supplied for the company HGPM (HuaGuang Precision Machinery Co., Ltd.), from Weifang in China, two four-colour printing machines in the SRA2 format to standard configuration. The Algerian printshopGroupe Sonatrach Spa ordered a configuration of the printing machine in the SRB2 format with two printing units. KBA Performa 74-2 printing machine was supplied to Algeria with the Simco ionization system.
