30.5.2007 / KBA-Grafitec confirms the role of leader at the EmbaxPrint trade fair
Dobruška / The International EmbaxPrint trade fair which took place from the 22nd to 25th May 2007 at the Brno Exhibition Centre demonstrated the very strong position of KBA-Grafitec and the entire KBA group on the Czech and Central European market. The producer of the KBA Performa 74 and 66 printing machines sold five of the printing machines at the trade fair. Their new owners will be printshops from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Russia. The contracts signed at the trade fair include four KBA Performa 74 printing machines of the SRB2 format and one KBA Performa 66 machine of the SRA2 format. The business success confirmed that the EmbaxPrint trade fair is for KBA-Grafitec, not just a local event but has international significance. The machine orders for the above mentioned countries are no accident. The sales representatives for the Czech and Polish market together with the Slovak and Hungarian representative, the company KBA Slovakia and the representative for Ukraine, the company MacHouse, all staffed the exhibition stand during the trade fair. The invitation was also accepted by the management of the Russian representation of the IPRIS company who arrived with a group of 12 Russian customers. For the first time, KBA-Grafitec also exhibited at the EmbaxPrint trade fair as the dealer for the KBA Rapida printing machines.
KBA-Grafitec was successful in the Golden EmbaxPrint competition. It was the perfector of the KBA Performa 74-5 SW 2 printing machine which received this award. The visitors to the glass stand, besides the actual exposition, were also interested in printing on the special Tyvek paper which is resistant to tearing. The Tyvek paper was used for printing on the KBA Performa 66-5 machine. The Dobruška printing machines were not exhibited only at the KBA-Grafitec stand. The KBA Performa 74-2 machine was part of the comprehensive Workflow of the picture data in hall G1.
In addition to the technical advantages of the exhibited printing machines, visitors were also impressed by the dynamic show which Tomáš Matonoha and Sára Venclovská presented at the KBA-Grafitec exhibition stand. Guests were attracted to the opportunity to win a branded trekking bike in the competition where a draw for the prize took place twice a day. The KBA-Grafitec exposition was visited by twenty international KBA dealers. Among these were sales representatives from Greece, Portugal, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and from other countries. Company representatives from the KBA global sales network attended the International dealers meeting which took place in Dobruška on the eve of the trade fair - on Monday, 21 May 2007.
The high point of the KBA-Grafitec presentation at the EmbaxPrint trade fair was the social evening organized on Wednesday, 23 May 2007 in the unique environment of the Brno Technical museum. The Vice-President for Sales and Controlling of the KBA, Mr. Andreas Moessner, the CEO of KBA-Grafitec, Mr. Jens Junker and Jan Korenc, VP Sales and Service thanked their customers and other guests of the ceremonial evening for their devoted custom to the KBA brand. The Grafitec presentation on the domestic market as part of the KBA group took place two years ago for the first time – it was at the EmbaxPrint 2005 trade fair. During the two years since the incorporation of Grafitec into the KBA group, the KBA-Grafitec company has taken the leading position with KBA Performa 74 and 66 printing machines between the suppliers of offset machines and equipment in the Czech Republic.
