Dobruška / The regular annual exhibition Graphics of the Americas took place this year in Miami, Florida from 4th to 6th February. It took place under the sign of JDF and Grafitec was there. As one of the six leading companies in the field and the only producer of sheet-fed offset presses, Grafitec presented the possibilities of JDF.

Presentations were made in the form of a show in the Action Theater and, along with Grafitec, the companies Adobe, Screen, Xerox, Esco-Graphics and Hiflex took part. The presentation was given by Kent Martin, president of the company Grafitec America. Martin Prouza participated in it for Czech Grafitec.

Participants of the presentation focused on an explanation of the concept of JDF, the advantages it can give users and how it can affect doing business in graphic arts industry. Grafitec has been particularly successful on the US market with the Polly 74 printing machine. The aim of the presentation was to inform American customers on the possibilities of using Polly machines in SRB2 format with the JDF standard. The PollyControl system is fully compatible with the JDF standard and allows the Polly 74 printing machine to become part of an automated workflow. The presentation helped strengthen the position of Polly on the American market.
