Innovation in the SPORI PRINT V printshop in Esztergom

Esztergom / One of the most beautiful Hungarian towns where the traditional past meets the industrial future is the location for the SPORI PRINT V company, founded in 1991. Consisting of twenty employees, this printshop is the main print supplier for the Japanese car company Suzuki, located close to the printshop. Prints for Suzuki subcontractors and for the Esztergom town authority form a substantial part of the printshop production.

After the innovation of the production for the car company this year, the owner of the printshop, Mr. Ferenc Vincze, decided to invest further into the printshop development. Part of this is the reconstruction of the building and completion of the binding production facilities. “The aim of the development was to achieve cost savings in the final eventuality. The most important aspect is to offer a good quality product for an even better price than the competition”. Mr. Vincze believes that he can achieve this with the new KBA Performa 66-4 SW2 machine, supplied by KBA-Grafitec s.r.o., which was also presented to visitors at the Print Expo 2005 Exhibition in Budapest. The substantial technical and service facilities of Reprota Budapest, in addition to the price of the machine, were an important factor when it came to the issue of purchasing the machine. The printshop owner has chosen a machine which should save on the set-up times: remote control of the GrafiControl machine, the inking unit and offset blanket washers and the perfecting units. This printing machine should also be shortly completed with the CIP4 for the boundary optimisation to be connected with the existing exposure unit. This will bring an increase of the sheet feeding and minimization of the waste-sheet. The increased customer interest in the colour prints persuaded the owner in terms of correct decision making, and currently negotiations are underway regarding purchase of the next machine from Dobruška, this time the Performa 66-2 SW1.
